    they have screw holes all around the top. so you screw them in that way and they are pretty strong. its basically a couch remote holder but for plants.

    What is the long term effect of this on your fence? Seems like the wood would start to decompose after a just a few years?

    That is cool. So many people in the city and in urban settings don't realize how much you can do vertically. Instead of just a few handing baskets you have three levels of plantings… Awesome.
