This segment of the Greenwall Mojo Blog is a simple progression of Living Retaining Wall projects, shot by Jimmy Dick with SmartSlope, LLC of their Baltimore, MD Headquarters. The SmartSlope System is the main component used by The Living Wall Company in its projects. Jimmy is highlighting the innovative uses of living walls they are finding in their home office region. The first project is a community garden that utilized SmartSlope modules for terraces in the garden plots and the second is a rain garden that is using the SmartSlope Living Retaining Wall modules to hold up the low side of the garden. Both projects showcase how easy and sensible it is to utilize permeable, plantable, living wall modules rather than traditional solid block. The walls become part of the landscape planting plan rather than just separating it.
