Succulents, herbs and trees are part of my indoor gardening. Several of these plants were outside for the summer. Before I bring them into my home, I water the plant leaves and root ball with a liquid bug killer (Bug B-Gone). I let them sit in our garage for a week and then put them in my south facing windows. Since I use my herbs for cooking, I DO NOT use chemicals to kill the bugs. I just wash the leaves (both sides) several times with dish soap spray and completely soak the root ball of the plant. Then I rinse the herb with clear water. Now it can go in my south facing windows for the long Wisconsin Winter. Brrrrrrrrr! I water my succulents once a month until Spring. Then I increase the watering and start using a stronger brew of WORM TEA. The other houseplants I water as needed, just to make sure they don’t dry out. I give them a mild WORM TEA with every watering. I will start some lettuces soon. Thanks for viewing and please check out my garden website and join in on my forum. www.larksperennials.com

Hi, I couldn't quite catch the name of the plant at 9.22, could you tell me what it is please? I had a similar plant years ago which was lost in a house move, I'd like to replace it but I never knew the name and I haven't seen another since. Thanks for the video, you have some fabulous plants :)

Wow! You have an amazing selection of house plants and succulents. I love the colander planters 🙂 I am terrible with any indoor plants, they always die, I will be watching your vids and hopefully be leaded in the right direction. Have a great day 🙂 (I subbed, too!)

Thank you for visiting my indoor garden. I love stainless steel, aluminum and rusted items. I use all of them in my gardens. Gardening on a budget is what I stay focused on. Smiles, Lark

Thank you for the kind words. Could your Peace Lilly not like the water you are using? Is it tap water? Softened? Too cold? Is the soil kept too moist? I had that trouble with my dracena, I think the common name is 'Corn Plant'. I made sure I let it dry out between waterings and didn't let it sit in a saucer of water.

Thank you Shadow. This year I decided not to bring into the house as many plants as years past. It gets to be too much work. I guess that is a sign of growing older or is it WISER? LOL
