Thanks for your kindness to the cats. I am in a cat rescue group in Albuquerque. Do you have good luck with the okra? I have not had success with it, but some people in Las Cruces grow it well.?

I believe your tree is the green Kadota Fig; other kinds are Brown Turkey and Black Mission.

Pete replied saying he just checked the fish and were fine not sick. Must have happened during transport. Then said tail rot was like a breaking a nail, not that serious and that the fish would live. I responded saying I paid for healthy fish, not sick or dying fish! And I wanted my money back. Also I didn't even receive what I ordered and suggested they didn't post pics of fish if they aren't going to send what ppl order. Will never buy from them again!!!

I ordered from them 1 and everything was fine. .last week I ordered Sanke swordtails and received koi swords and 2 brown swordtails that were covered with fungus. I called and no respond, I emailed pete and he replied very defensively saying they don't ever mail sick fish and that my water condition must be bad. I was pissed.. I've been keeping fish for 20+ yrs and I water was perfect. So I emailed him letting him know that my water was perfect and the fish I recieved were sick.

I too made the mistake of ordering from them. The first time actually wasn't bad, but was mostly plants. The second was unspeakably bad. Upon contacting who I assume to be Peter about my DOA's he immediately got defensive and claimed I accused him of knowingly sending me dead fish and shrimp. He then went on to hang up on me several times when I asked to speak to a manager and told me I had issues and to "take them out on your girlfriend or wife on your own time". I was livid…NEVER AGAIN!

Go to Planet Invert dot com and click the shipping button. ALL water packages housing livestock should use breathable shipping bags. I have no ties to this site at all nor am I a competitor to AZ Gardens. I'm just a fool that didn't thoroughly check out their business practices before ordering…. Blue water additives, mesh, non-porous shipping bags, loose packing, and under insulated boxes should be avoided. AZ did ship in a styro-foam box, however USE PAPER! It's now 2012 not the 80's….

So, what is the proper way to package live shrimp in your opinion?

  • Laurie Karnatz 1 year ago

AZ Aquatic REALLY IS the worst. Don't buy from them. EVER. They like to claim that the bad reviews are just jealous competitors. I'm no competitor. I made the mistake of ordering from them. Never again. Oh, of course, they still owe me money, but I consider it just a loss.

Don't buy anything from these guys. Check out there bbb rating an F. They make between 1 and 2.5 million a year by ripping people off. Peter Yunger doesn't care about fish only money.
