This is the 3rd update of our Super Hot Peppers that includes the Chocolate Bhutla, Peach Ghose Pepper, and the pepper that was supposed to be a reaper that we are still trying to figure out what it is. We have also added 3 new plants and will be using products provided to us By Black Magic Hydroponics. Please check out their website. http://www.blackmagic.com In this series, we cover growing Hot Peppers in our Homemade Hydroponic Kratky System. We have found the Kratky method of hydroponics to be super friendly to beginners in hydroponics. We have total of 10 cuttings that were all taken off the same mother plant. We will be using three different nutrients and comparing how well they work. Three plants are in 5 gallon buckets, 3 are in protein containers, 2 in pots of soil, and two in felt bags. Make sure to check back for updates on the Hydroponics vs. Soil nutrient test. Make sure to check out our new forum! http://www.newearthhydroponics.com The forum is dedicated to Homemade Hydroponics and Homemade Wine. To help grow this forum into the biggest Hydroponics forum on the net we are doing a giveaway! Simply join the forum and make a comment in the section called Launch Giveaway by January 1st, 2017 and you will be entered to win a new Mars Hydro grow light and some nutrients! A winner will be picked at random on New Years Day! If you have questions about your grow, product reviews, grow logs, recipes, etc…. post in the forum. The more topics we can get going the better of a resource will be for Homemade Hydroponic growers and Homemade Wine Makers! Here is my fun variation of this method with HYBRID-PONICS (roots in soil & water) for making mini bonsai from rain tree seedlings – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCKDXMP475g. The roots in water are sacrificial. The pot on top is the main one to be retained. But for now, I think I will keep the water roots bcos I am fascinated by them.

I think it should still be considered kratky method. It was originally for lettuce which matures rather quickly so doing it with peppers you are either going to have to add nutrients or grow in a 32gallon trashcan or something. lol
