Just wanted to provide another update on our hydroponics and hay bale garden. The hydroponics are doing great and it is amazing to think that 6 weeks ago these plants were tiny. All the tomatoes are healthy and are looking good! The rye grass hay bale garden is coming along. This is our first year to attempt this…so it it a learn as we go process. However, most things are looking good and we have veggies and peppers that have already set. We have been eating off the swiss chard for a couple of weeks. At The Steel Magnolia…we remain thankful for all our blessings and will be looking forward to saying the blessing when it it time to eat that first tomato sandwich of the season! Thanks… Video Rating: / 5 This is… was supposed to be the kiddo’s summer project but SQUIRREL… it has become my project. She’s more of a behind the scenes participant now. Anyway, we are starting a simply indoor hydroponic grow with tomatoes from seed. This will hopefully be a quick little journey to some nice tomatoes. This one we’re setting up the rockwool, and germinating seeds the old fashion way. Heat pads and everything work fine, but there isn’t much need when the average temps are warm enough. Contact me if you need specific details on nutrients, online suppliers, etc. Related PostsAn Update From The Garden!
