I’m growing sweet potatoes and regular potatoes in containers in an unusual way. Sweets are growing great and Roosters have grown big enough to start weaving through the sides and stacking. Very pleased where we are with the space-saving hydroponic potato towers!
My name is Brent and I live in central Arkansas. Love to garden and dabble in hydroponics–Drip Systems, Deep Water Culture Systems, Self Watering Containers, & modified Rain Gutter Grow Systems in the greenhouse. A big part of it is experimentation. I would love to hear from you. Join the conversation and share who you are here with me!

Do you guys eat sweet potato leaves?
Hello i reside in Tanzania am really interested in growing crops in that way, can you help me to know on how i can do it in a better way, Thanks.
can't wait to see how these potatoes come out.
Those tater towers are looking good. Hope they turn out good inside.
Lovely healthy plants Brent.
It will be interesting to see the reveal. Best wishes Bob.
Seems like the upper buckets would have to be much wetter than the lower buckets. How do you avoid that, or do you?
The Wall of Potato. I hope it turns out as fantastic as its looking right now.

Hello Brent. I have long been a critic of towers and vertical gardens for growing vegetables, as you now. Most vertical gardens grow a few salad vegetables and some herbs and not much more. Good luck with the potatoes, I hope you get a great crop. It's hard to tell in your video how tall your potato tower is, but take care when you lift the top container off. With no handles to help you, I think a 'Bear Hug' might be in order. Looking forward to the reveal. HGV.
The plants look nice and healthy, Brent! It will be interesting to see the outcome!
After you get you style perfected are you going to produce a book on your growing ways? You've put a lot of time, effort and experimentation into your system…could make retirement a bit more interesting. ; ]
I'm quite impatient to see the result. Looking forward to the harvest / reveal video …
Amazing taters I tell ya! Looks like these took well this time. You-Da-Man!! Can't wait for the brains of these operations to get here so you can teach and old Redneck some new tricks!!!
