Brock I couldn't tell from the video if those peppers were in dutch buckets. If not , which system have you had the best success with peppers? I am just trying to plan ahead for next summer in the green house. My temps were just so out of control this summer past. Sometimes hit 130f degrees with the exhaust and doors open. I hear peppers will do ok with high temps and not my tomatoes. Any ideas??

Eh Bro, lettuce I run around 400-450 when they are really using them in 5 days it will drop to 200ppm. I have gone as high as 600 on lettuce but I find everything does better if I go a little easy on the nutrients. my tomatoes and peppers I run between 1000-1050 and they will drop to about 500 in 5 days often faster and lower if they are real hungry. my ph remains stable hovering between 5.8-6.4 I read ppm everyday and ph every 3-5 days so I know if they need more nutrients. Enjoy! -Brock-

Hey Hi Bro. wooo wee yep the heat is crazy for BC but I'm loving it and those peppers are starting to get good. I keep wanting to put another dutch bucket system together in the middle but the truth is I just get so dog gone hot. for the cukes Bobby, they got a fungus at the base of them and it just beat them to near death. They are all coming back though at the tops and some of the laterals. even with the troubles they are hanging in there, no pun intended the gospel truth is they taste amazing

Thank you very much tey seem to be doing fine. you are right about the spots. I think some were due to a PH problem I was un aware of at the time but have since corrected and I got a minor bit of powdery mildew also, not to bad but it was there I've changed the way the fans are blowing inside so I'm hoping this will help. It seems in my area powdery mildew goes hand in hand with the squash. I'll give them a good look today for the spider mites. thanks for commenting it really helps. –Brock-

LOL.. you say it's getting hot in there? About time ! The peppers look like they're enjoying the heat and sunshine. I hope to have my stuff setup before too much longer. I just need some cooler weather. 100+ inside is hard on plants. What was you verdict on the cukes?
