BBC Gardener of The Decade, Katherine Crouch, shows how to plant and grow a vegetable garden in a small space.
Katherine uses a grow bag and wooden poles to allow the vegetable plants and seeds to grow upwards to maximise what fruit and vegetables you can grow in a small space. The varieties of climbing vegetables used in this video include Runner beans and Haricot beans.

encouraging! an after video with the vegi's grown would've been a nice addition.?
I used some weed barrier fabric and sewed my own planter bags for this season, but haven't planted anything in them yet. Maybe a good project for today. :)?
Make a fruit garden video like this?
Check out this video on YouTube:?
Really nice. Loved and Subbed?
And when those plants actually grow? It'll be like a Vietnamese traffic jam in there.?
Thank you very much for your kindness and effort in sharing your gardening video. Daghang kaajung salamat!?
Also, it seems that all UK and Canadian videos on garden talk about "compost" and do not distinguish between all compost, as Katherine claims, which would lead to weaker plants–and a composted mixture, which would be more advantageous. This video has been bugging me ever since I saw it a couple of weeks ago.?
Katherine, do you answer people's questions and comments? Why would you plant 4 varieties of beans instead of more variety in your vegetables. I get lots of lettuces/salad stuff, lots of herbs, and lots of beans from your video. Don't understand that choice.?
At end I thought she is going to plant some apple trees in between. ?
This is way too crowded, I won't recommend it at all. It looks pretty now but results will be very poor in such sort of method that she used. Veggies need space to grow. ?
Awesome idea thank for sharing?
nice demonstration! Thanks?
why waste money when you can plant them on the ground?
when you make your salads, wh type dressing do you use ?
I'm diabetic & can't have dressings don't like the others.
Any suggestions ????
As An avid gardner . This garden space is tiny and she is lutting too many pla ts into it! After all they need room to grow and expand ?
This is a great system and thanks for sharing! I would like to share this one with you 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PBUIl6z5xw I use it for strawberries but I've also used it for salads and it works really well xx?
