Welcome. Have you ever wanted to try growing food with your kids? Have you wondered how hard it would be? My name is Christina and I have been running my daycare for over 20 years. I incorporate gardening into my everyday curriculum, as it has so many things to teach us including, science, math, pre reading, sensory learning and fine and gross motor skill building, in a real world environment. This video gives an overview about gardening with kids and how to start the process to help you find success in gardening with your little people. It also gives a lot of info on WHY you would want to do this. Gardening is overflowing with benefits for mind, body, and spirit! Check it out! I wish I could garden with my kids but I live in a flat. Maybe start small!
Love your video!
We live on rock & have so much wild life that our gardens always fail.
Awesome! This is a great project.
I absolutely love that you have your daycare kids out in the garden. We chose our oldest daughter's school because of their philosophy on being outside and working their garden. Her favorite snack is snap peas and carrots all because she grew them herself. Great video!
This is great. We have to set the next generation up for understanding the importance of REAL food.
This is adorable and helpful! I plan on using these tips when my son is just a bit older – thank you :)
This is a great way to teach kids about gardening! I wish I had something like this when I was little. It looks like so much fun!
I LOVE that you incorporate gardening into your schooling. It really is a lifestyle skill that kids need to learn and I think it teaches work ethic too.
What a great thing to be teaching our kids! Thank you for all the work you do!
