Your title is "How I Mix My Hydroponic Fertilizer & What Fertilizer I Use"

hi, this hydroponics is a big mystery to me over here ;in this part of the world. Africa Nigeria. I want to start out with it but I lack materials like grow mix miracle mix whatever. what do u suggest?

Hi Luke… I love all your video's, great job! Thank you so much for sharing. I am starting my Cherry tomatoes using the Kratky method, I watched your video on how to start your seedlings. I noticed you used Masterblend 20-10-20 with the added nutrients incorporated in the fertilizer. It doesn’t look like you added the Calcium Nitrate and the Epson salt, is also incorporated in the Masterblend 20-10-20 fertilizer? Also, is it possible to use the same fertilizer for tomatoes, lettuce, and cabbage (Bak Choy)?

Hey, so first off, I love your channel. I'm in the process of setting up some shelves with LED grow lights to grow greens (lettuce, spinach, kale, and bok choy) with the Kratky method. But I'm trying to figure out the easiest and most effective (and most cost-effective) nutrient solution for greens specifically. If possible, I'd rather not mix up ingredients (adding cal-mag or Epson salts). Do you or do you know any place online that mixes up a great powder solution for greens only? I'm heard Masterblend is good (though its page says its for tomatoes), but I've heard mixed reviews about Jack's professional. Could you direct me to a few please? Thanks again!

so you spent $25. on nutrient solution to grow 30 lettuces… thats after all the costs of building your system… so each time you do a raft of lettuce… nutrient = $25. power for lights more $$… think I will just buy my lettuce at the shop

Been using jacks for a number of years. The thing with Jacks is it will actually go into "solution" which is a more dissolved product. When mixing it use hot water let it sit for 10-25 mins after initial stirring, it will then go into solution then add cold water to tepid which makes it much more readily available to your plant. I also add a tsp per gal of black strap molasses which feeds your soil to help it convert with micro- nutrients

Thanks for the video.  I wish there was a way to measure how much fertilizer I am giving the plants with my EZ Flo reservoir for an inline fertilizer.  I set up 20 Agro towers with 5  buckets per tower on 1/2 inch tubing that I run for 8 minutes with a city water line three times a day.  I had the fertilizer rate on slow and the leaves started looking pale so I put it on the fast setting and now they look over fed with my peppers so dark green they look unnatural.  I am going to go down to setting 2 to see how that does.  Just wish there was a way to measure things with less trial and error.  Sure beats filling a tank to pump from every day though.
