Hi thanks for sharing your video. it's really is a really nice setup. my question is for the zucchinis and all the plants in the square shaped PVC pipe. is it a dynamic circulating system or is it a static system where the plants just sits in the water

Zucchini does not require a 12 -12 light hour schedule they start to naturally blossom early summer, I do not know exactly what triggers it but it happens during warmer times, they plant may just need to be large enough, again unsure. And give them 6-9 square feet of horizontal room to grow. Those Leaves get huge and carpet. But honestly they do stretch so you can put them closer to each other, the stems will reach out 3-4 feet if they need to, but of course more room is better. Definitely give squash and zucchini their own space they will overshadow other plants that require high light.

I have a question, some plants require 12 hours of darkness and 12 hours of light to trigger the plant into the flowering stage. My question is, does squash need a 12-12 light schedule in order for the females to blossom because so far my plant has only been producing male blossoms. At the moment I have my plant in 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. I am growing in my closet. Thanks.
