Anyone ever hear of (or try) Sonic Bloom? I started using it this year and it's working really good. Haven't had luck with all my plants, but I think it's because of other reasons (insects/diseases). Other than that it's working great. My only worry it that the plants are growing so fast I'm worried about them using up all the nutrients in the soil. I have organic nutrients like cow compost, Azomite and micro-nutrient foliar spray, so I'm hoping that they're good enough. Just gotta do my best to add them when I'm able to. Anyone have any experience with SB or suggestions?

Congratulation to Judy. So glad that you are doing a video on cucumber. This is my first year growing cucumber. Can you tell me when is the time to harvest the cucumber? I notice lots of sharp "needles" around the cucumber which I don't normally see at the store. Are they an indicator when the cucumber is ready for harvest?

Jeff… sounded like you said Arizona is an ideal growing climate… PLEASE SEND US SOME OF THAT RAIN! 40 degree temp swings lately- highs near 120 and extremely dry… I have not been able to grow healthy cucumbers in 4 years. I think I might have to drain city reservoirs just to give them enough water. LOl.

Hi jeff,The place for you is Canada if you don't like rain, here u get everything exept sun,as we know its june july winter, and the only thing grows here is ice cube and spruce tree.

Cucumber plant looks great. I live in Central FL and currently its in the low 90's during the day with 79% humidity. It's also been raining every day here too. How do you deal with Powdery Mildew on your cucumber plant? I've tired in the past to grow in the late spring/summer months, but the powdery mildew was too much to handle.

Haha I hear you! The growing climates do play a major role in gardening. But hey SoCal is in a drought now and we really have to keep up with watering every day 🙂 Great guide on growing cucumbers and I like your top-down approach to growing them, will try this some time!

Great tips! Our weather here in Houston has been crazy! My cucumbers are doing fantastic! My broccoli & cauliflower are moldy & I'm guessing it's from too much rain.

Hi Donald been following your channel for a while great videos. Im thinking of building some grow towers myself and im corious about about how the foam worked in the diffrent ways you installed it in this video. Any conclusions yet?

Hi Donald, Thank you for posting, you have solved MANY issues i have been struggling with. Congrats with your system. JUST love your straw in the verti tower, great idea..

Hands down -this is the most awesome aquaponics set up I've ever seen built. Your bee videos are very informative as well. A lot of what your doing is my dream for my retirement (in a year!) Subscribed. Thanks for posting your videos.

So what happened with the straw? What issues did you have that caused you to change? I am guessing that you used the heat gun on the grow towers to bend out the bottom and bend in the top of the growing positions. How has your Ph, Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels been? Are you still hosting multiple breeds of fish? Last update I saw you had Tilapia, Trout, and Perch. I saw your recirculating set up to increase the water temperature for the Tilapia.
