Explode-o-nut (Explode-O-Nut in Plants vs. Zombies 2) is the explosive version of the Wall-nut that explodes in a 3×3 area, similar to the area of a Cherry Bomb, dealing 90 normal damage shots to any zombie caught in the blast.

Endurian is the third plant obtained in Lost City in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It was first revealed in the Lost City Part 1 trailer, and then gameplay of it was shown in the Lost City Part 1 developer diary.

Primal Wall-nut is the second plant obtained in Jurassic Marsh in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is the primal version of Wall-nut. It costs 25 sun more than the modern Wall-nut, but has the same toughness and recharges faster. Additionally, it can withstand up to three smashes from Gargantuars and three tackles from the All-Star Zombie and other instant kill attacks from zombies (such as Zombot Dinotronic Mechasaur’s laser attacks) instead of just one, similar to Spikerock.

Wall-nut is the first defensive plant obtained in all Plants vs. Zombies games. It acts as a shield for the player’s other plants, as it has high durability. It is mainly used to stall or block zombies in order to buy time for the player to plant an offensive plant.

Tall-nut is a defensive plant appearing in both of the main series Plants vs. Zombies games. It costs 125 sun and has an identical recharge time, but double the health of a standard Wall-nut. Additionally, Tall-nut can also block several flying enemies from passing through, forcing them to eat it instead.

Infi-nut is the fifth plant obtained in Far Future in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It has half of the toughness of a Wall-nut, but is capable of regenerating its health over time, provided that its projector remains intact. It is obtained after completing Far Future – Day 13.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 (previously Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time) is a tower defense game released by PopCap Games. This game is a sequel to the award-winning game Plants vs. Zombies. It was released for iOS devices on Thursday, August 15, 2013. In this version, the player battles new zombies in a time travel motif.
