Any other suggestions on how to automate the irrigation of my capsicum plants are welcome. I am also looking for ideas to DIY the Aquavalve from Autopot. Any suggestions or ideas on this are more then welcome too. Have fun experimenting and go breed chilli peppers!

Try with 2-3 inches lava rock then top with your desired compost, coco, coco perlite mix be perfect,
this should not have rot problems.

for 15 litre pot how much water is given to pea plant

Nice
thx man appreciated . that is one really good tech !
Excellent and how info videos should be done no 6min talking introductions starting with 'hey guys' and letting the videos prove itself
Very well done!!
Great video – I tried this method as a vacation-solution and all plants are well. However, as some of my plants are in clear pots, I have noticed their roots changed to a darker colour – perhaps too much moist/light rot.
Have you tried placing the pots on an absorbent material such as capillary matting or even regular towels?
This could possible resolve the issue with submerged soil and the material would be supplied with water from the bottle. I am considering this solution for my next vacation – but better test it first.
This would be great if you are going away for the weekend.
a few thoughts:
1) will likely lead to root rot because bottom of soil will always be wet.
2) root development will be poor because root tips will never die back at bottom, and top of soil will never be moist.
3) likely to get insect pests, especially gnats.
4) how will you supply nutrients in an efficient manner?
5) area just above where it is always wet will accumulate massive salt buildup.
great system ,, you complainers need to think outside of the box when it comes to mosquitos and fungus… i've been doing this for years with a chicken feeder bucket, i grow food
The video is good music is awful :)
Does it attract mosquito?
genius! thanks for sharing, really helpful :)
That's clever !
I have tried several fertilizers and the best I have found is Masterblend mixed half and half with calcium nitrate and a small amount of epsom salts. Also, for your buds there is Super Rainbow by the same folks … Magnificent plants
i am looking into using the kratky method in my garden. how can i use organic liquid fertilizer in this method without making the water (with organic fertilizer) grow stale or foul? since the kratky method does not introduce oxygen into the water, it becomes anaerobic. will the nutrients and microorganisms survive such an environment?
Everytime I see this guy, I can't help but feel like he looks like a child melester
get yourself some fox farm ocean forest soil. yes its pricey but if you're only doing a couple plants get it! You will see the results in your plants. hell they also sell a 12 qt bag which would be alot cheaper than the big bags.. the 12 qt's will fill a 3 gallon container.. AKA 4 qts to a gallon. fox farm ocean forest is the best soil on earth IMO. Hell fox farm ocean forest is even Ph'd for you .. its in the range of 6.3-6.8 …. which is what we call perfection. you also will not have to add a single nutrient for about 40 days.
Chemical fertilizers is a unfortunate label. They are compounds isolated from animal, mineral and certain hydrocarbons which are natural anyway. Decaying compost is just as much a series of chemical reactions as is anything made in a lab. Regardless of how they are derived, the end molecular compounds are the same. Organic sounds much more inviting, but the only real difference is the level of refinement, which in turn dictates how fast the plant can use them. In hydroponics, organic offers no significant advantage.

i bubble my water for 48hrs
Remember people, that "organic" is just another word for CHEMICALS. Plants use Nitorgen, phosphorous, potassium….etc and they are all CHEMICALS. The plants don't know the difference! Just make sure you add the micro nutrients also! (Just thought that was worth repeating.) ALL things come out of the ground….remember?

Been looking at your videos and have recently subscribed….i'm amazed! I was wondering if it's possible for us to exchange a few words about organic farming on a larger scale and in a tropical climate. you seem knowledgeable about organically growing of plants and i wanted you take on it.
Why am i being fucking YELLED AT ??????????
FFS…….
Anything that says "brix" is for sweetening your fruit. Only use that as your plants are making fruit. It amps up the soil microbes so they feed your plants aggressively while fruiting.
