Thanks for the great instructions! It totally worked, and it wasn't hard to do. I was going nuts trying to find an inexpensive solution; you saved my day.

Are you chirocolt on ebay?  I think I bought one of these from you lol.  Mine stopped working after light use and I'm scouring the internet trying to find a cheaper solution as I am not about to spend another $30 on something that doesn't last so thank you for this tutorial. Now to get a tri-head screwdriver.

super cool! I did it per your second video as the timer internals are different. But it works. I'm using mine as a pool pump. move water out of the pool into coils in the sun and back in every few minutes…Thanks!

I just finished this build for my aquarium aquaponics system and I am very pleased. I am using a media timed flood and drain. I was able to flood and drain once an hour with the unmodified, with the mod I am now able to flood and drain 8 times an hour. Thanks for the vid, GrowColt..

If all you need is 30 on, 30 off, they have $5 timers at home depot that will do that. just buy the mini-24-hour timer, and raise every other peg.

I could not find this exact timer at target, but I did find a similar timer made by brinks. I watched your other video on how to modify a brinks timer. I modified it to your specification and the timer works perfect. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Im sorry, but what is the point of modding this timer? I have a 15 min interval that I use in hydroponics but I want to make it better with this mod. Thanks

Awesome video! Been looking for something like this… Quick question(s): Why do you need neoprene washers? Are they the same as the rubber washers you get for faucets etc.? Is this something average hardware stores carry? Thanks!
