This is a DIY video to build a 35 min repeat timer with 50 second intervals for Aeroponic and Hydroponic applications. This video will show you what timer and tools you need and how to construct it in a very easy to do simple way. I have done 1000’s of these and other aero projects that I will upload later on so please subscribe! If you don’t want to build it your self, visit GrowColt.com or www.ebay.com/sch/chirocolt45/m.html to purchase one cheap from me. Hope you all enjoy!

Thanks for the great instructions! It totally worked, and it wasn't hard to do. I was going nuts trying to find an inexpensive solution; you saved my day.
you can do it yourself ,just go to inplix page and learn how to make it.
Just did this hack to one. The gears were different but it was actually easier than the one on the video. Great hack. Thanks again.
You are the freakin' MAN! Thanks.
Are you chirocolt on ebay? I think I bought one of these from you lol. Mine stopped working after light use and I'm scouring the internet trying to find a cheaper solution as I am not about to spend another $30 on something that doesn't last so thank you for this tutorial. Now to get a tri-head screwdriver.
super cool! I did it per your second video as the timer internals are different. But it works. I'm using mine as a pool pump. move water out of the pool into coils in the sun and back in every few minutes…Thanks!
I just finished this build for my aquarium aquaponics system and I am very pleased. I am using a media timed flood and drain. I was able to flood and drain once an hour with the unmodified, with the mod I am now able to flood and drain 8 times an hour. Thanks for the vid, GrowColt..
If all you need is 30 on, 30 off, they have $5 timers at home depot that will do that. just buy the mini-24-hour timer, and raise every other peg.
genius
Great man. this saved me lot of time
Finished .Thanks man
I could not find this exact timer at target, but I did find a similar timer made by brinks. I watched your other video on how to modify a brinks timer. I modified it to your specification and the timer works perfect. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Im sorry, but what is the point of modding this timer? I have a 15 min interval that I use in hydroponics but I want to make it better with this mod. Thanks
Awesome video! Been looking for something like this… Quick question(s): Why do you need neoprene washers? Are they the same as the rubber washers you get for faucets etc.? Is this something average hardware stores carry? Thanks!
Thank you for your movie.
I also have the comprehensive step-by-step training video lessons on how to make your very own home made Aquaponic system. Its so easy that even your granny can do it!

Awesome thanks a bunch for sharing!!!!!
Awesome video, very good explanation. Do you think you could change the resistor that powers the little motor and just make it turn slower?
can you upload a video on how to use the timer? or how to use it in action. mine do not rotates at all. is it supposed to be like that or I need another devices to make it run.
New video out showing update for timers with different internal gearing! Please enjoy and support us on ebay, web, and just telling your friends about us! Thank you!
