So… what if making money isn't my objective. What are the best plants to grow for maximum nutritional value to feed a family??

  • Bright Agrotech 2 years ago

Not really- there are some limitations on what crops you can grow depending on the type of system you run, but by and large, environmental variables are higher on the list of things to consider. Match your crop to your climate! Then match the crop to the technique. I like media beds for vining crops and large statured crops and my towers for everything else!

They'll grow and they'll taste fine, but they may not be the prettiest things you've ever seen. We recommend sticking to above ground crops!

Strawberries grow really well! They're usually about quadruple what you can grow horizontally. Haven't tried blackberries yet. Let us know how they go!

These are the best videos to be uploaded to YouTube in years. They're the only professional videos regarding Aquaponics. Obviously this guy knows way more than Murray.
