    Wonderful. Great experiment too.

Both plants did well and produced many fruits. I needed to start fertilizing the plant in the old soil amended with fertilizer earlier than the one in the fresh soil.

What did you find about the new potting soil vs older w/fertilizer? YOu seem to love to grow : > )

Good luck! There are some plants that are OK with less sunlight. My balcony actually gets too much sun and gets super hot in the summer.

I envy your sunlight! I have a NW facing balcony and I fear for my plants 🙁 Still gonna try to plant some stuff though.

Thanks for visiting! I am worried about the stability of the balcony as well. I concentrate the weight closer to the wall.In the summer, the self watering container needs constant watering…The singer on the video is Alana Davis.

I watched your garden grow last year. Your plants love you! And the placement so nice, just enough space. Anyway, I use a rain barrel. Even with the self-watering containers the watering was a job! This year all I need do is fill the barrel about half (I was concerned about the weight on my balcony), turn the tap and gravity waters! Such a joy without the heavy lifing involved with the old way. Who is the singer? I love your garden! You are a pro! Thanks for sharing it.
