I think that project will harvest a big power's bill!
How do you expect this to work … where are the potatoes supposed to grow? So, did it work then?
Is there an updated video of any progress on this system?
How did this work out? Thanks for your video uploads very curious about this please keep us updated on how this turned out.
Wow! the energy in 5kg of potatoes would run that system for 2 days tops, How about the crazy idea of growing them in the ground?
Your generator project sounds interesting. Looking forward to a video on that. My next video will show the componets of my system, I used a UPS for back up power. So far so good I should have it up in a couple of days. Take care.
Very cool design, I like how you repurpose things to make your system work. looking forward to the updates.
The nutrients would last a good while and you`d have a much better chance of success. Running soil nutrients in aeroponics is a bit like running a petrol car on diesel 😉 For a rough and ready vegetative nutrient with reasonable a PH, you could use some water from a well stocked fishpond or freshwater aquarium. Be sure to filter it first or it`ll clog your nozzles..
Miracle grow isnt ideal for hydro/aero, you`d be better off using a standard hydro nute. The black tubes will be a heat magnet..you dont want par boiled tatties 😉
Well that's part of testing out new things like this, messing things up! it's all a learning experience. :D
sweet exactly what i was looking for. can't wait for the update (haven't checked quite yet still watching video)
Going really well thanks, foliage is about 6" tall, I'll be doing an update video shortly, keep an eye out for it!
How's it going after one month?
Dude…..AWESOME! Love the design. Keep me posted on the progress. My aeroponic potatotes are sprouting so slowwwwwwwwwwww. The ones in the ground are already sprouting :/
nice, i want to see how it works out!
I'm excited to see how it turns out!
