Hydroponics is a good system but it also have some drawback, you need to buy some "plant food", nutrients and supplements that can be costly. Before making any hydroponics system, it is best to consider the benefit from aquaponics system, which could automate 95% of work.
"Lettuce"
HygroHybrid brought me here
Just put 2 starter tomatoes in my new pot. Did you use a liquid fertilizer in the water? Wish I'd watched your video first.
No doubt! All the videos on youtube and FINALLY someone who shows you how to start it using deepwater culture on a seedling! Thanks for the video, mate!
I don't know for sure. It looks to me like the seeds are put into a germination pod and the bubbles will get small amounts of water from the bubbles and the seeds will germinate and grow towards the water. I don't know, but that is what I'm guessing it is. All I know is that he put seeds in.
what? i figured he put the seeds in that small bag (seed starter) and you'd have to ad water till it reached that bag.
Put as much water as he did.
No, he adds seeds.
i figure you have to have a started plant before using this system , or add more water till it reaches the roots.
what is he jiffi for
Leave the pump on all day , check out hydroponic system at collegegrowbox
Nice
great video, how long do u have the air pump on?
Thank you for uploading this. Finally not just a teaser, a video that tells you how to do it. Sorry Im totally new to this but may I ask why do you need to aerate the water? Also what other vegetable could you grow on this?
You have a fun voice
The roots are supposed to be drowned, and the roots cannot be crushed by the clay unless you abuse your plants like shaking them around.
@rominmufc1 that's a tomato and a gourd-looking plant you dumb shit. Doesn't matter what he's growing, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Yeah it might work, but there are DEFINITELY better ways to do it.
@mikesogden hes only growing lettuce you idiot
@armandoarevalo1 thats y u have the airstone
