We get lots of emails and phone calls from people asking how to control the waterflow in their VEG. In this video we show you how to prevent water from completely backing up, especially in VEG’s where plants with large roots systems are growing.
For those of you who would like to build your own VEG, you can purchase plans on our website for . They are super detailed and include a bunch of graphics!
Hi Camila…Awesome to hear! What do you mean by plagues? Bugs? We use an organic solution of yucca extract and dilute it in water. We then pour it into a spray bottle and spray late in the afternoon or early in the morning 🙂 I hope that helps!
Hi Mark! I´ve a question. I´m starting my own vertical garden at my balcony and I´m wondering how do you keep plagues at bay in such a big garden? What´s the secret? Thanks!
Yup, we have multiple systems running aquaponics setups. You just need to run an inline bio filter before directing the water to the garden 🙂
HI Lee,
We use 1/2" and we get them from greentree hydroponics online.
They are great people and actually located down the street from our place 🙂
super helpful. where do you get your valve and 3/4 connectors?
im wondering if I could pull this same system off but with aquaponics instead… instead of using the drowning system. any tips are welcome please.
