I got this hydroponic unit to test out and show other people that also purchased it how to actually use it since the instructions are in Chinese and some of the folks on Amazon that bought it were a little confused. Hopefully I covered thing well in the video to help people out. I think the only thing I didn’t mention was that I keep the lights on 16 hours and off for 8 hours each day.
It’s a good set for beginners since it has everything you need to try hydroponics besides the nutrients.
I think it would make a great cloning machine too.

what TDS meter did you use?
i hope the system function well ?
I'm new to this but could you grow strawberries in a 1 inch net pot or just herbs?
I love the idea of this unit, shame can't find in Europe. When grown, do you keep there or transplant into a bigger holed unit, or soil? I saw the same company, on Amazon sells a ''smart unit, with 18 holes' and led lights (but strange as on one photo looks like two large pots of basil in soil!) looks like an aerogrow style unit, have you tested that? And have you tested the aerogrow? Also do you have video for your homemade unit? I appreciate lots of questions, and off subject as well
Hi just got one of these your video helps when you put the Nutrients in when do you change the nutrients and is it the same strength
Thanks
Have a good day
As always great videos. Temps are warming up here time to speed up planting. Been slacking off this year.
Great video just brought one can't wait for it to arrive, and get started.
Thanks
Nice video! Did you get any burning at 800ppm? That seems high for such young plants.
nice unit
Hi Ted – That's quite a nice setup for the price. Everything you need to get seeds started if you don't feel like building it yourself (though for me, building it is half the fun). Cheers!!
Awwww….How cute ; ) That really is a nice little starter system for sure!
A nice unit the Chinese instruction would be a bit confusing LOL.
Are you taking the tomato's out, or will you flower in the hydro.?
Nice, you've seen mine, very similar, 99 cent cat liter box, reflective foam, puck, air stone and small pump. cheap like me, ha ha, finally got my garden acct. back, it kept taking me to the testing channel…..it's been 3 years……cool….
Sponge Cubes are perfect for starts or herb type grows. That setup is really cheap for what you get! So, what's your plan for the Tomatoes?
sleestaks do rule!
